Anne Marie Receives APR Certification!

Hot off the Presses!

Add another set of initials to Anne Marie’s name, as she recently received her Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) from the Public Relations Society of America, making her Anne Marie Levis, MBA, APR!

Internationally recognized, the APR is the highest level of certification for public relations professionals. Achieving the APR means that an individual has successfully completed the application process, a panel interview, presentation and a 200-question knowledge assessment of public relations principles. The accreditation process is meant to test an individual’s communications skills and their ability to identify strengths and growth opportunities in media and PR strategy.

For Anne Marie, receiving her accreditation in public relations was about taking her skills to the next level in order to provide even better service to the clients we work with at Funk/Levis & Associates

“It was important to me to receive my accreditation in public relations to strengthen the quality of work we are doing in this area of communications. Public relations is a critical tool for a business, and when executed effectively, it can produce excellent results. Going through the accreditation process was a valuable experience that gave me further insights into the importance of strategic communications,” Anne Marie said.

The APR training reinforced Anne Marie’s own convictions that public relations can be used as a proactive tool to build positive perception. Adapting to the changing dynamics in the communications industry is of concern for many PR professionals. It is critical that individuals in communications stay abreast of the latest industry trends, obstacles and principles, especially as we usher in a new era of consumer distrust and media skepticism.

Whether your business needs advice about proactive public relations or crisis communications management, drop us a line to see how we can help. Anne Marie has always been a great resource and now has the credentials to prove it!
