Meet Jesse, our new Junior Copywriter & Account Assistant
Jesse Summers has joined the Funk/Levis team as our new Account Assistant & Junior Copywriter. Jesse will use his skills in communications and creative wordsmithing to help achieve marketing goals for clients.
“We’re thrilled to add Jesse to our team,” said Anne Marie Levis, President and Creative Director. “Jesse is a talented writer and we’re excited to have another accomplished graduate from the University of Oregon’s SOJC join our agency.”
Jesse earned his bachelor’s degrees in advertising and journalism from the University of Oregon’s School of Journalism and Communication (SOJC) and Robert D. Clark Honors College. Prior to joining Funk/Levis, he interned at agencies in Seattle and San Francisco, gaining experience working on creative campaigns for a variety of clients. In September 2017, Summers was selected as a winner of The Big Ad Gig, pitching a creative campaign for Goodwill in under four minutes.
Here’s what our newest Funkster had to say:
“I could not have asked for a better place to start my first full-time agency position,” he said. “I’m excited to be back in the city I grew up in, helping clients grow their businesses in the community and on digital platforms.”
Jesse will work closely with our account managers to develop, plan and implement a variety of marketing and communications campaigns for our clients.
